The 7th Asia Conference on Renewable Energy and Environmental
Engineering (AREEE 2026) was successfully held in Singapore
from March 28 to 30, 2026. Following the tradition of
previous editions, the conference remained in Singapore and
continued its partnership with the International Journal of
Environmental Science and Development (IJESD) for
publication. All accepted papers underwent rigorous peer
review and were published in IJESD, which is indexed by
Scopus, CAS, CABI, and other major databases.
AREEE 2026 saw continued growth in participation, building
on the momentum from 30 attendees in its first edition to
over 100 participants by 2026. The event attracted
researchers and professionals from more than 21 countries,
including China, USA, Singapore, India, Philippine, Japan,
Cambodia, Indonesia, Thailand, Australia, United Arab
Emirates, South Africa, Mauritius, Vietnam, Malaysia,
Ecuador, Bolivia, Republic of Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Nigeria,
and Peru, demonstrating strong internationalization while
maintaining a localized presence in Singapore.
The three-day program featured keynote speeches by
distinguished experts, parallel oral sessions, a networking
banquet, and an optional city tour. Recognizing the needs of
the global community, the conference offered both in-person
and virtual participation options. Key topics covered solar,
wind, and hydropower, hybrid energy systems, hydrogen and
fuel cell technology, wastewater treatment, solid waste
management, air quality assessment, and energy policy
planning.
AREEE 2026 successfully served as a vital platform for
cross-cultural collaboration and knowledge exchange in
renewable energy and environmental engineering, reinforcing
its position as a key regional conference in the field.
The accepted and presented papers of AREEE 2026 will be published in regular issues of International
Journal of Environmental Science and Development
